Message from the president

To All,

It is a great honor to represent some of the most well-trained and skilled law enforcement officers in the United States.  The VCDSA is proud to represent frontline peace officers of the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office and Ventura County District Attorney’s Office.  These men and women collectively work 24 hours a day and 7 days a week keeping the residents of Ventura County safe.  Since our inception in 1959, the VCDSA has worked tirelessly to ensure these dedicated members are provided competitive benefits and appropriate protections.  We continue to support our members after retirement to ensure they continue to receive the same protections and benefits earned during their peace officer careers.  It is my commitment to ensuring our community protectors, both past and present, are protected.

The VCDSA also has a robust charitable trust.  We are committed to giving back to our community through charitable donations that serve our community.  Each year through donations from our members and the public, our charitable trust donates tens of thousands of dollars to help our community thrive.  We are committed to defending against gang and domestic violence, drug abuse, and human trafficking in Ventura County.  Our donations help to provide local non-profit organizations the financial resources needed and to improve the quality of life in Ventura County.

Finally, the VCDSA has its own store, Tri-County Police Products where you can buy great items and support our members.  It is located at our office at 981 S Victoria Avenue, Ventura, CA 93003 – and also available online through this website by clicking on the “store” link or at tricountypoliceproducts.com.  Please check them out on Instagram and Facebook as well! Our store profits are used to help our members and spouses in need.  The proceeds are used to help our members when times are difficult through our benevolent fund.  We truly consider our members to be family and care deeply about their well-being.  It is an honor to serve them as the President of their association and we are fortunate to have a benevolent fund to help them when they need assistance most.

Thank you for taking the time to visit our website!  Should you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach me at my email – nodenath@vcdsa.org.

Sincerely,

Nick Odenath, Ventura County DSA President
